Installation
This guide helps you install Espanso Dynamic Forms on your system.
Before You Begin
Make sure Espanso is already installed and working. You can verify by typing a test trigger in any text field. If Espanso expands your text, you're ready to continue.
New to Espanso?
Visit espanso.org to install it first. Espanso Dynamic Forms extends Espanso's capabilities, it doesn't work without it.
Choose Your Platform
Windows
Install on Windows — Download and run the installer. Takes about 2 minutes.
Linux
Install on Linux — Choose between a .deb package (Debian/Ubuntu) or a universal .AppImage.
macOS
macOS is not officially supported yet.
Since Espanso Dynamic Forms is built with Electron (which supports macOS), you may be able to build it yourself from source. Contributions to add macOS support are welcome, feel free to open a pull request on GitHub!
After Installation
Espanso Dynamic Forms is designed to be launched by Espanso triggers, not run as a standalone app. Follow the Getting Started guide to create your first trigger and test your installation.
