Bing Images
Introduced in v1.2, Bing Images brings a visual dimension to your Definer lookups. This content source lets you explore a rich collection of high-quality images, photographs, and animated GIFs based on any text you select or type.
Safe Search
Looking out for your innocence (or what's left of it), Definer enables Safe Search by default. If you try searching for something that would make your grandmother blush, you'll see a message politely suggesting you might want to adjust your settings first.
To disable Safe Search:
- Click on the link in the message to open Definer's Options
- Expand the Bing Images source settings
- Toggle off the Safe Search switch
Opening Behavior
Definer gives you control over how images open when clicked.
You can choose from three options:
In the Results (Default)
Images open right inside the Definer pop-up, keeping everything neat and tidy in one place.
In a New Tab
Images open in a separate browser tab, perfect for when you want to keep an image accessible while continuing to browse.
Additional option: You can choose whether new tabs activate immediately or open in the background by toggling the "Activate the tab" switch.
In a New Window
Images open in an entirely new browser window, ideal for comparing images side-by-side with your current page or for dual-monitor setups.
