Is Definer Safe?

Platforms like the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons conduct regular reviews of listed extensions. Definer has been in the extensions catalogs for years (since June 20th, 2021) and has earned a good reputation and can be trusted.

Mozilla also requires developers to submit their source code for every update, and they have manually reviewed Definer's code.

If you're technically inclined, you can also inspect what an extension does yourself. Extensions' code is not compiled into an unreadable format, as both Chrome and Firefox policies prohibit that.

This means anyone with some technical knowledge can examine it and spot anything suspicious.
